So far, this season has not gotten off to a good start. After I spent all summer working out and getting ready for this season, I went to Colorado to do some early season training, and trying to get into the Dew Tour. However, the first day I was there, I dislocated my elbow, so I was out for about 2 weeks, blowing all and any time I had to practice before the Dew Tour. Their course was one with huge jumps and rails and, sadly I didn’t get in. There’s always next year!
I also competed in the Rev Tour and got third with only about 2 days of riding before! Totally Stoked!! That, sadly, happened to be the only competition I’ve podiumed at, because I keep falling. But that will change this next month.
Oh and after a Burton Am I had a seizer for no reason WTF? So I have been going to the doctor to figure out what’s going on because that was quite a scare. The doctors couldn’t find out what was wrong. So, I’m taking it as a wake up call and now my season is turning around. I have been working on some new tricks, so hopefully my luck is turning around and I can dominate the Grand Pix, US Open, Rev Tour and Billabong Flaunt It (my favorite comp). I am really trying to have a new outlook on things and really make a name for myself. I want to really grow and succeed at this sport.
